But it wasn’t all bad news for her. She appeared as The Page Three Girl of British tabloid, The Sun, and was also featured in a Playboy shoot, becoming the first transsexual to appear in the popular mens magazine. Although it was a dark period of her life it inspired her to write a book, “I Am Woman.”
Now that times have changed, this former Bond girl, who was outed as being a man in 1981, is now presumably happily married. She lives with her husband near Atlanta and advocated recognition of LGBT rights.
