The queen of Thailand, Sunandha Kumariratana, drowned at the young age of 19, carrying an unborn child, and succumbing to the depths with her daughter too, with plenty of people present that could have saved her life. The king later erected a memorial to his wife and unborn child.

  1. hmm, I think you forgot the fact that people around her tried to help without touching her, like throwing her coconuts so she would stay afloat and throw rope like vines? I think but she couldn’t reach it because, well she was drowning and they were panicking plus human, moreover a child would only survive 3-5 minutes so how could people around her think straight THAT THEIR QUEEN IS ACTUALLY DYING IN FRONT OF THEM. Plus n one would want to die bcs they save a person, Moreover a queen. AND at that time people were actually demanding for democracy so yeah
