Former Australian cricketer Don Bradman was so good, and so revered not only have songs been written about him, but also film, landmarks named after him, coins minted of him, a Boeing named in his name, a museum about him, many books written about him, awards in his name, and even a plant named after him. He was even referred to during World War II. The code “Bradman will be batting tomorrow” was used by allied forces to signal their attack on the Monte Cassino monastery. Not only all that, but his name is protected by Australian law.
